How to translate Netflix into any language (including yours)

Netflix's audio language options are limited. SyncDub lets you dub any Netflix show into 70+ languages, including ones Netflix doesn't support.

By SyncDub Team

Netflix offers 5–7 audio languages per title, picked by Netflix. If you want Portuguese dubbing of a Korean drama that Netflix only ships with Korean and English audio, you're stuck. Until now.

What SyncDub does on Netflix

It captures the audio stream inside Netflix's HTML5 player, sends it to the translation model, and plays the dub back into a separate audio track that mutes the original. You get a real-time translation that isn't on Netflix's language list.

Setup

  1. Install SyncDub AI.
  2. Open Netflix in Chrome (Edge, Brave, Opera and Arc work too).
  3. Set Netflix's preferred audio language to the ORIGINAL language of the show, not your target. We need the source audio to translate.
  4. Click the SyncDub icon, set your source and target languages, hit play.

What works well

  • Dialogue-heavy drama — The Bear, Beef, Succession, all translate cleanly.
  • Documentaries — narration is usually clear, slow, and easy to dub.
  • Anime with English source — Naruto, One Piece, Frieren translate well into Hindi, Tamil, Spanish, Portuguese.

What's harder

  • Music and song lyrics. We translate the words but you lose the music.
  • Whispered dialogue. The model sometimes skips these.
  • Heavy accents. A Scottish character speaking English is hard to dub convincingly into Mandarin.

Languages people ask about most

Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, Mexican Spanish, Castilian Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, Arabic (MSA), Egyptian Arabic. All supported.
