You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

SyncDub provides real-time AI-powered voice translation and dubbing of video/audio content played in your browser, using a single built-in AI voice across supported languages. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect translation accuracy, or that the Service will be compatible with every website, platform, or device.

You agree not to use SyncDub to:

• Translate or process content you do not have the legal right to access or view.
• Create deepfakes, impersonate real people, or generate misleading synthetic audio without consent.
• Translate content for defamation, harassment, fraud, or other unlawful purposes.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any usage limits, security features, or credit metering in the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract our underlying models or source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Resell, sublicense, or share access to your account or purchased credits without our prior written permission.
• Use automated means (bots, scripts) to abuse free trial minutes or interact with the Service outside normal use.

The extension operates on top of third-party websites and streaming platforms (e.g. YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, Udemy) that you choose to visit. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content, availability, or terms of those platforms. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of SyncDub on any third-party platform complies with that platform's own terms of service.

The Service, including its software, models, voice, design, and branding, is owned by SyncDub or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service. You retain any rights you already hold in the content you choose to translate; we do not claim ownership over your source content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that translations will be accurate, timely, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, and we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity (including payment disputes/chargebacks made without contacting us first), or misused the Service. Upon termination for cause, any remaining credit balance is forfeited; see our Refund Policy for details.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date, and where required by law we will provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law provides otherwise. Any disputes not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Francisco County, California, except where applicable law requires a different venue.
